Resizing

Most rings can be resized up to 2 sizes up or down from the size you ordered. Your first resize within 60 days of delivery is free, with free shipping both ways.

How to request a resize

Email info@18karats.com or call (888) 318-8818 with your order number, the size you need and a few photos of your ring. From the photos, we will tell you whether your ring can be resized before you send it to us.

When a ring cannot be resized

Some designs, such as eternity-style bands, limit or prevent resizing. If our team determines that your ring cannot be resized to the size you need, we will let you know and offer a special order in that size. A special order is a remake of your piece and is quoted at an additional cost before any work begins.

Good to know

• A resize takes about 10 business days from when we receive your ring.
• Later resizes, within 2 sizes of the ordered size, are quoted before any work.
• Once a ring is resized, it can no longer be returned. We confirm this with you in writing before we resize.
