These Terms of Service apply to every visit to and purchase from 18karats.com. By using the site or placing an order you agree to them.

Orders and verification
Your order confirmation email is not our acceptance; an order is accepted when it ships. We verify every order before production and may ask for a photo ID or other information. We ship only to the billing address of your card or payment account. We may limit quantities per customer, card, household or address, and may cancel any order, including for suspected fraud, with a full refund as your only remedy.
Prices and errors
Prices are in US dollars. If a price or description is shown in error, we are not bound by it and may cancel the order with a full refund, even after it is placed; if it has shipped, you may return it for a full refund or pay the difference. Promotions are not valid on past orders and cannot be combined unless stated.
Our written policies are the agreement
Our Returns, Shipping, Warranty and Custom Order terms are part of these Terms. Statements by phone, chat or email do not change them.
Diamonds and descriptions
Lab-grown and natural diamonds are always named as such. In line with industry standards and the FTC Jewelry Guides, total carat weights marked "~" are approximate and may vary by up to 0.05 ct from the weight shown (for example, ~ 0.70 ctw means 0.65 to 0.75 ctw). The weight of a certified center diamond is exact, as stated on its certificate. Color and clarity grades are minimums. Photos may show a different center diamond than the one you choose.
Returns abuse and chargebacks
Buying several pieces to compare and returning the rest is not allowed. We may decline future orders from customers who misuse our return policy. If you file a chargeback instead of using our return or warranty process, we may recover our costs and cancel any free gift or benefit from the order.
Risk of loss
We are responsible for your order until it is delivered to you.
Designs
All designs, including custom designs we create for you, remain the property of 18KARATS INC.
Governing law
California law applies.
Using our site
You may use this site for personal shopping only. Do not copy our photos, designs or text, interfere with the site, or place orders in someone else's name or with a payment method you are not authorized to use.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about an order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version on this page on the day you place your order applies to that order.
